Hey kids,

The Goat/TEF Split 7" is officially available. $4ppd in the US & Canada, $6.50ppd for the rest of the known world. Black vinyl, housed in a 10mil flapped soft vinyl sleeve. Clear sticker with release info on the back. All-Texas attack. It's the mid 80's bang zoom all over again, but not. Blistering thrash metal on Side A, Technical power metal on Side B. Sound samples available on the front page of the site.

The record release party in Austin on Saturday was a success except for a few minor scheduling problems. Scissortail, TEF, Habeeb, Seplophobia, & AFA turned the small room at Snake Eyes Vinyl into a total disaster for your hearing. Blast Beat made a mess of the parking lot. Luckily I was not feeling the brunt of the flu I had acquired the previous weekend. The after-party Rave (Yes, you read me corretly) was even more astounding. Jet packs, theoretical astrophysics, blinking mouth guards & old school NYC break dancing music. The transporter to Level 2 was a nice touch as well. I don't remember half of it. Sorry if I drank all your Shiner. I didn't know it was yours.

Due minibiografie di Amon e Madame P.

Nei primi anni `90 Andrea Marutti inizia la sua ricerca sonora manipolando materiali di origine naturale ed artificiale. Nel 1995 fonda il Lips Vago Digital Studio e dà vita ai progetti Ambient / Dark-Ambient Amon e Never Known, ispirati dall`archeologia spaziale. Parallelamente riversa la sua creatività in una serie di altre sigle come The Afeman, Spiral, Lips Vago e Wolkspurz & Ramirez. La sua musica è stata pubblicata in Italia ed all`estero da Amplexus, Drone Records, Eibon, Field Muzick, Taâlem, etc. Tramite la sua etichetta Afe Records ha pubblicato diverse decine di lavori a carattere sperimentale realizzati da musicisti elettronici italiani e stranieri. Dal vivo, con l`ausilio di numerose apparecchiature, propone un set di elettronica astratta basato in gran parte sull`improvvisazione.

Madame P è il progetto solista di Patrizia Oliva, già nelle Allun e nei Rosas Y Tulipanes insieme a Luca Pagani, chitarrista dei Viclarsen. Più recenti sono le sue collaborazioni con il riduzionista biellese Luca Sigurtà nel progetto sperimentale Macaya e con Tommaso Rolando e Marco Ravara, rispettivamente contrabbassista e chitarrista dei Calomito, nel progetto Toba. Diverse autoproduzioni e una nutrita serie di concerti su e giù per l’Italia l’hanno in breve tempo proiettata tra le realtà più promettenti del momento. Un suo disco è stato da poco pubblicato dalla Cold Coffeine Addict in Germania ed un altro, realizzato insieme a The Afeman, uscirà presto su Afe.

maska genetik is known to a few people from galakthorrö's kosmoloko compilation. lovers of maskagenetic contributions have had a long wait for new material but now the waiting is over, and galakthorrö is proud to be able to present the debut EP from this outstanding muscovite melancholic.

On "quarantine" the listener will find four songs of the finest denial of life, arranged to form a 15 minute ride to hell, as maska genetik let the famously notorious soviet synthesizers wail and embed deathly vocals in their pulsating death-wish exalting industrial rhythms. everything is analog in best angst pop style. therein lies the strength of maska genetik, the confident feel for a good combination of the ingredients that in the right place, and in the right dosage melt together to form a satisfying union and become a true aural experience.

Naevus was formed in 1998 by Lloyd James (voice & acoustic guitar) and Joanne Owen (bass &, accordion).
