No technical cut-ups, breathing room, or psuedo-hippie jams around here, just a MASSIVE wall of sound! Recommended for people who actually like noise. 300 copies. Following two CDs on n5md, UK's multitalented Keef Baker offers on Ad
Noiseam a solid 6-track MCD in which his music takes a resolute
accoustic and organic turn. Warm voices flow through "Pure Language" on
top of a very distinctive bass and a new found drum'n'bass twist. Keef
Baker enriches this vocabulary with a playful use of tempo changes and
contained noise, writing down a music both human and massive, full of
emotion and yet assertive. "Pure Language" is neither a whisper nor a
shout, but a thoughtful and laid statement, to be listen to with care
and enjoyed with ears wide opened.

Bong-Ra comes back armed with enough beats to make everybody rave till
late after dawn, including the two cover models. He then hands up the
mixer to four veterans of the breakcore scene (Enduser, Duran Duran
Duran, Drop The Lime and Parasite) before inviting four youngsters (Cake
Builder, Cardopusher, Dr Bastardo and Ace Of Breaks) and giving them an
opportunity to demonstrate their remixing talents.

subwoofers and the dancefloors, there is some serious raving coming

SISSY SPACEK - 'S/T' CD
In 1999 Sissy Spacek made their first recordings as a conventional
blur/grindcore duo consisting of Corydon Ronnau (vocals) and John Wiese
(bass and drum machine). Shortly after, the band entered a recycling period
in which Wiese produced a number of albums and eps, the first of which was
this s/t CD (originally released on Helicopter), transforming their original
source material into hardcore musique concrete. Listed in Studio Voice's
"New No Wave 200" and declared a new genre by Koji Tano, the consensus was
simply stated: "not for the faint of heart." Long unavailable, PACrec is
pleased to reissue this classic recording.
