Equinox is the fourth collaboration between Wolf Eyes and John Wiese.
Following several Olson-produced releases on his American Tapes label,
Equinox is the first collaborative album produced by Wiese and features the
line-up of Aaron Dilloway, John Olson, Nate Young and John Wiese.

"After jamming onstage early in this period at the Casbah in San Diego and
using the material to put out the “Live" 7" - this CD further pushes the
electronic confusion hurricane into truly brain fungus clawing vine sound
territory. Wiese's horror/libarian approach to noise sculpture and his
surgical skillz at scattering sound is fully matched and paired with the
lurking, sweating Anti-Intelligence live Wolf Bombast. Including totally
strange piece with the crew watching fireworks in Echo Park and chuckling it

Piecing this one together meant running deep into the YS haze cloud that was
2005 cassette releases. we've got a bit of all of em on here (23
productions, tone filth, split with Skaters, split with Sex With Girls) and
it's just a fucking CLOUD. nothing quite as uncompromisingly blissed as
Drift, but still totally faded and OMINOUS... More than anything (including
the likes of Psychic, and Drift), the tracks on this release have informed
the YS sound NOW. Way fewer beats, way more space, WAY WAY MORE SPACE. Tons
of drones and zones, weird sounds that I don't even know what made em..
maybe it was the animals in the place we were living/practicing in? maybe it
was Gabe's power animal rolling out to rock and roll? Unknown. All I know is
that there are phantom beasts all over this mess and we're real proud of it!

The final document from, in my eyes, one of the best bands of the last 10 years.
Rabies Caste have always ruled hard, and I'm not glad to see them go. This cd collects 3 tracks recorded in 2003, including the single "Timeless" from the split 7" with Sourvein, 2 live tracks recorded in Jerusalem 2003, and 2 unreleased studio tracks from 1997. There have only been a handful of bands over the years who have blown me away upon first listen, and RC were one of them. With only 2 other cd's available, For The Vomiting Tractor Drivers on Infernal Racket, and Let The Soul Out... on Earache, I am very proud to add to their discography with this cd. A very personal mission. Considered a must do since I was first approached about it. It took a while, but we finally got it done. The angels whose golden light shimmered upon the harmonic strings and
drones of the first Sky Burial recording have fallen. Their ragged armies
now trudge through charred forests and blackened landscapes, broken wings
dragging behind them, and they bring doom.

Sky Burial is the drone/ambient project of Michael Page of Fire In The
Head. Spectrehorse is the follow-up to Sky Burial's acclaimed and very
limited self- titled debut (reviews at web site listed below). A decidedly
darker, colder, more distant and discordant recording than the debut, this
disc delivers nine cyclic dirges of cavernous, dark ambience, dense,
droning strings, dissonant electronics, rumbling analogue synths, and
minimalist percussion influenced by guitar drone and early minimalist
industrial/ambient.

Spectrehorse was composed using edited field recordings made in temples
and caves in Laos as well as source material culled from studio sessions
recorded between 1996 and the present. Although advance listens to this
recording have elicited comparisons to a diverse range of acts including
Skullflower, Lustmord, Jesu, Final, Zoviet France, Deutsch Nepal, Double
Leopards, Earth and Sunn O))), Spectrehorse retains a sound that is
uniquely Sky Burial.
