rundownsun is proud to announce yet another master work of jon borges'(pedestrian
deposit, black air, knives) minimal and highly finessed noise/power electronics
project emaciator. with heavy references to the early '80's european industrial
scene, most notably the BROKEN FLAG label, emaciator walks a path quite divergent
from borges' previous work. discarding the progressive, heavily edited, harsh-blast
approach, in favour of steady throbbing drones, controlled feedback, and sickly
vocals. self-described as the antithesis of pedestrian deposit, emaciator's focus
is regression, degradation, and waste.
